Pre-Registration and Bidder Paddle Pick-up
If you have pre-registered your credit card on the website, you will only need to pick-up your bidder paddle and start bidding!
For attendees who have not pre-registered a credit card prior to event night, please do the following steps when you arrive:
- Stop in the office to check-in and have your card swiped.
- Pick-up your bidder paddle.
Payment & Pick-Up
- If you have pre-registered with a debit or credit card, you can check yourself out at the end of the evening on your personal device. American Express, MasterCard, Visa and DiscoverCard are all acceptable forms of CC payment. Payments for all items are made together. Your card will not be charged if you don't win any items.
- All payments must be made in full by the end of the evening. If you wish to pay with cash or check you will need to do so in the office.
- After payment, the successful bidder will receive a receipt. The receipt must be shown at the appropriate auction booth to pick up all items. Volunteers will assist with item pick up.
- All auction items must be removed the evening of the auction unless otherwise noted or arranged. Trinity Lutheran School is not responsible for any item left after this time.
- All questions concerning the bidding should be asked prior to placing a bid. Once a bid is made, it is considered a contract that must be honored.
General Policy
Trinity Lutheran School makes its best effort to verify that all items are genuine, but makes no representation with respect thereto. Values set forth for items being auctioned are donor’s estimates and are not warranted by Trinity Lutheran School for tax purposes or for general value. Trinity Lutheran School makes no expressed or implied warranties on auction items. Trinity Lutheran School assumes no liability for auction or auction items. The successful bidder agrees to the forthgoing and further agrees to only look to the donor for the satisfaction of such warranties.
General Rules for Silent and Live Auction
- All sales are final. There will be absolutely no exchanges or refunds, unless specifically stated.
- All items are sold on an “as-is,” “where-is” basis.
- Failure for whatever cause for the successful bidder to arrange for the trip, meal, party, service, etc., within the time limit and according to the specified conditions imposes absolutely no obligation on the donor or on Trinity Lutheran School for a refund.
- Any Licensed Team merchandise acquired in the Trinity Lutheran School Auction is for personal use only. The merchandise may not be used for advertising, promotional (including contests and sweepstakes) or other commercial purposes.
Live Auction Rules:
- Bidder paddles to be used in the oral auction will be distributed at the door upon arrival. Please leave them on your table at the end of the evening.
- The auctioneer will call out desired bid amounts.
- To bid the amount being called, a bidder must raise his or her paddle high until recognized by the auctioneer.
- Bidding progresses until the highest bidder is not out bid. The successful bidder holds his or her paddle showing a bid number to the auctioneer for recording.
- All payments must be made in full at the end of the evening by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. Payments for oral and silent auction items are made together.
- After payment is made, the successful bidder will receive a receipt. The receipt must be shown at the appropriate auction booth to pick up all items.
